Fidelity has always embraced the added utility available from reconfigurable simulation devices. Digitally replicated instrument displays, part of the company's approach since its inception and copied later by competitors, are ideal for everything from 6-pack instruments to today's Primary Flight Displays. The Laminar Research PlaneMaker aerodynamic modeling program also allows unlimited flexibility in the flight model.

At the other end of the spectrum, Fidelity Flight Simulation has the expertise to replicate the most sophisticated cockpits. Single engine or twin; piston, turboprop or turbine; fixed wing or helicopter – Fidelity has the capacity to provide cost-effective, type-specific flight simulation devices.

• EFIS/PFD and Multi-function Displays: Fidelity has the capability to simulate any modern EFIS displays, including the Garmin G1000 and Avidyne Entegra units, providing simulated versions of these devices on an LCD or installing and interfacing with the actual units.
   
• Autopilot replication: Fidelity has replicated the most sophisticated autopilot systems, including helicopter autopilots, and has the expertise to provide any desired level of autopilot automation.
   
• Mode S Transponder: The new standard for aircraft-to-aircraft and aircraft-to-ATC communications is Mode S. Fidelity now has the capability to provide Mode S systems and training with any of its flight simulation devices.
   
• Look & Feel: Fidelity can provide exact cockpit replication—down to each and every circuit breaker, the glareshield, the seats—every detail, for any aircraft type.

Together with Fidelity's six-axis motion base, the type-specific MOTUS simulation device offers most of the same benefits as letter-level flight simulators at a small fraction of the cost.
